WThis is an easy version of a drink from our latest drinks list. It's a party-sized pre-mixed that is bursting with the flavours of a holiday season, rendering it excellent for your festive gathering. Save the extra syrup for morning drinks, puddings, or for more rounds of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Yields 10 guests
To make the Citrus Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g caster sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (makes 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (as made above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Directions
To prepare the Cordial: Combine the listed ingredients in a pan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, stirring to dissolve. Next, remove from the burner and leave to cool down entirely. Pour into an sterilised bottle, close it keeping it in the refrigerator, it can be stored for about a month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Mix all the liquid ingredients in a large bottle, let it rest for 60 minutes, then pass it through best through cheesecloth, so it's perfectly clear.
To serve: Add 85ml from the premix into a stirring glass containing ice, and stir gently for one minute to cool it down. Pour to a chilled martini glass or equivalent, garnish with a few cranberries and finish using a brief mist with the mandarin essence over the top.
